IRES 3.0
INTEGRATED RELIABILITY AND SAFETY ASSESSMENT
Introduction of IRES Software:
The IRES3.0 is a software which is used for probabilistic safety analysis of the systems. This software consists of Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Event Tree Analysis (ETA), Common-Cause Failures (CCF), Importance and Sensitivity Analysis, Human Reliability Analysis (HRA), Sequence and Consequence Analysis modules. All of the mentioned modules are capable of being analyzed under point-wise, uncertain, and time-dependent conditions. The reliability of every system is modeled by a fault tree composed of logical gates and basic events. Moreover, there is a capability of inserting human error models into the fault tree to analyze the effects of humans in the accidents. Fault tree calculation is implemented with high-performance oriented algorithms in this version of the software which has converted it to a competing software with its related International commercial software.
Capabilities:
- Modeling and analysis fault trees.
- Modeling and analysis event trees.
- Common-cause failure analysis.
- Importance, sensitivity, and uncertainty analyses.
- Human reliability models.
- Components reliability models.
